Supervisor, CIC – Surface

About the role

The Supervisor, CIC – Surface is responsible for monitoring and controlling the output of the Surface CIC operations and maintenance team. The role ensures plant availability, cost‑effectiveness, and safety while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety leading indicators and total quality management principles.
• Conduct inspections, audits, JHA and manage incident investigations.
• Coordinate refurbishment and maintenance of CIC infrastructure to OEM standards.
• Gather performance data for reporting to senior management.
• Manage team productivity using AGA’s “How we Work” guidelines.
• Develop and execute training and development plans for the team.
• Support the CIC Superintendent on all CIC works and training activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising maintenance or infrastructure teams in an industrial or mining environment.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems and environmental compliance.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop team members.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
