Technical Advisor - National AI Strategy

About the role

The Embedded Technical Adviser & Project Coordinator will be seconded full‑time to Ghana's Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations (MoCDTI). Working directly in the Minister's Office, you will act as a trusted strategic partner to translate the National AI Strategy into concrete implementation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day coordination of TBI’s contribution to the AI Strategy implementation programme.
• Support the Minister and senior ministry officials in setting priorities and developing implementation roadmaps and annual plans.
• Coordinate delivery across ministries, departments and agencies, ensuring alignment with the strategy.
• Strengthen governance, reporting mechanisms and monitoring frameworks for AI projects.
• Accelerate a portfolio of high‑impact public‑sector AI exemplars.
• Maintain the programme workplan, milestones, and reporting to both TBI and MoCDTI stakeholders.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Ghana (no visa sponsorship available).
• Proven experience advising senior government officials on technology policy or implementation.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, ethics, and public‑sector digital transformation.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
