Technical Lead – React & .NET

About the role

The Technical Lead will drive the end‑to‑end technical direction of CodeLn’s web, mobile and backend platforms. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will shape architecture, enforce engineering standards and mentor a growing team of developers. The role is based onsite in Accra, Ghana, with occasional in‑person collaboration across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the architectural strategy for React/Next.js web applications, React Native mobile apps and .NET Core backend services.
• Make pragmatic decisions between modular monolith and micro‑service approaches, applying Domain‑Driven Design principles.
• Set and enforce coding standards, testing practices, API contracts and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to translate requirements into deliverable slices, plan sprints and manage release risks.
• Lead code reviews, pair programming sessions and provide coaching to raise the team’s technical competence.
• Guide hiring, onboarding and the development of a strong engineering culture focused on ownership and quality.
• Design and implement secure, resilient .NET Core APIs, database schemas, migrations and performance‑tuned queries.
• Establish observability, monitoring and alerting foundations for system health.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade full‑stack solutions across web, mobile and backend.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a track record of guiding engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with product and project stakeholders.
• Ability to balance rapid delivery with long‑term technical sustainability.
