Africa Financial Controller

About the role

Based in Ghana and reporting to the CFO EMEA, you will lead the Africa Finance function and the Switzerland supply‑chain hub for Dyno Nobel. As a trusted business partner to the Africa General Manager and the EMEA Supply Chain Manager, you will provide financial leadership that drives performance, governance and strategic decision‑making across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for Africa and the Switzerland hub.
• Develop strategic models, conduct business analysis and support commercial decisions.
• Ensure governance, compliance and manage external audits.
• Lead capital investment planning, asset management and finance transformation initiatives.
• Partner with regional leaders to strengthen controls, improve processes and drive performance.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years senior finance leadership in a large, multi‑business environment, preferably mining, chemicals or agriculture.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and strong analytical finance skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience leading multi‑site teams; SAP/S4HANA experience is preferred.
