AI Conversation Designer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for an AI Conversation Designer to shape the way its AI agents interact with users. You will define tone, personality, flow, and especially how the system responds when it is uncertain, wrong, or needs to hand off to a human.

Key responsibilities

• Design conversational behavior for Zof AI products, including tone, personality, and flow.
• Define how the AI handles uncertainty—when it hedges, asks clarifying questions, or escalates.
• Write and test system prompts and response guidelines together with AI engineers.
• Create safe human‑handoff moments and escalation pathways.
• Review real transcripts, iterate on conversation patterns, and keep a consistent voice across channels.
• Partner with the evaluation team to make conversation quality measurable.
• Raise the overall communication standard of the product under all conditions.

Required profile

• Experience in conversation design, UX writing, or content design.
• Working understanding of how large language models behave and fail.
• Excellent command of tone, clarity, and voice.
• Ability to prototype and test conversational flows.
• Comfort collaborating closely with engineers in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high quality bar.
