Aircraft Maintenance Planner – Maintenance & Engineering

About the role

Africa World Airlines Limited is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join its Maintenance & Engineering department at the head office in Accra. The role focuses on tracking, scheduling, and preparing work packages to ensure aircraft maintenance requirements are met efficiently across designated stations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan all short‑term maintenance tasks, time‑limited component changes, and MEL deferrals.
• Coordinate with Base Planning, Materials, and designated Maintenance Stations to integrate non‑routine work into scheduled line‑maintenance events.
• Develop daily work packages, set priorities, and manage workload distribution at Maintenance Stations.
• Create detailed job instruction cards, considering required skills, tools, and materials.

Required profile

• University graduate in a relevant field.
• At least two years of experience on commercial jet aircraft (corporate aviation preferred, commercial airline acceptable).
• Strong planning, organisational, and analytical abilities.
• Self‑driven, high integrity, team‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
