Application Security Engineer (AI Platform)

About the role

Zof AI is looking for an Application Security Engineer to own and improve the security posture of its AI platform that reads, executes, and modifies customer source code. The role involves hands‑on work with AI agents, threat modeling, and delivering concrete security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce security for a platform that processes customer code, including sandbox hardening and tenant isolation.
• Design and implement secrets management, credential handling, and least‑privilege access controls.
• Secure the software supply chain from dependencies through build and deployment.
• Build technical controls required for SOC 2 and other enterprise security audits.
• Enable agent fleets to detect, prove, and remediate vulnerabilities in customer code.
• Conduct regular threat modeling, design reviews, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to satisfy enterprise security questionnaires.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing production software systems or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to ship code.
• Solid understanding of application security and common vulnerability classes.
• Experience with cloud security, identity, and access control.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment and take high ownership of security outcomes.
