Assistant Loss Prevention Manager

About the role

Manages the daily functions of the department to ensure protection of property assets, employees and guests. Maintains required logs, certifications and documents, trains staff in emergency procedures and implements accident and fire prevention measures while supporting guest satisfaction and budget goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly OSHA/Safety audits and incident tracking.
• Develop and enforce shutdown, key control and CCTV inspection procedures.
• Oversee patrols, emergency response, investigations and the claims process.
• Lead the Accident Prevention Committee and first‑aid program for guests and staff.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Monitor unusual activities and enforce duty of care processes to protect guests and employees.
• Handle complaints, dispute resolution and negotiate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience.
• Or an associate degree in Criminal Justice with 2 years of relevant experience.
