Security Guard (Day/Night)

About the role

A reputable private organisation in Accra is looking for a disciplined, vigilant, courteous and responsible Security Guard to protect its premises, personnel, visitors and property. The role covers access control, security monitoring and vehicle parking management, and is a full-time, on-site position based in Dansoman, East Legon or Osu.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points so that only authorised persons enter the premises.
• Carry out routine security patrols and report suspicious activity.
• Direct drivers to suitable parking spaces and make sure vehicles are parked correctly.
• Keep traffic flowing smoothly during busy arrival and departure times.
• Treat visitors courteously and professionally.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports.
• Protect organisational property and enforce security procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security or protective services is an advantage.
• High school education or equivalent preferred; security training or certification is an added advantage.
• Vigilant, honest, disciplined, punctual and physically fit.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and follow security procedures.

Required skills

• Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage parking arrangements and direct vehicle movement.
