About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks an experienced academic to join its Faculty of Engineering as an Associate Professor. The position is open for candidates wishing to contribute to teaching, research and community service in one of several engineering departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the selected engineering department.
  • Supervise student projects, theses and research activities.
  • Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
  • Engage in community service and faculty development initiatives.

Required profile

  • Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or related discipline.
  • Current appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or at least four years of experience as a Senior Lecturer.
  • Minimum ten publications in recognized scholarly journals.
  • Three referees’ names and addresses.

    • Remuneration based on the Single Spine Pay Policy and comparable to public university conditions in Ghana.
