Bakery Sales Executive

About the role

The Bakery Sales Executive will work on‑site in Accra, driving both walk‑in and bulk sales of fresh bakery products. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose items, answer questions about ingredients and pricing, and process orders efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, present product options, and provide accurate information on ingredients and pricing.
• Process cash, card, and point‑of‑sale transactions with precision.
• Maintain attractive product displays and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with the baking team to ensure product availability.
• Identify and approach corporate or event clients, follow up on inquiries, and keep customer records up to date.
• Handle customer feedback, support basic promotional activities, and keep the sales area clean and safe.

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales and customer‑service abilities, with a knack for engaging shoppers and closing sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both walk‑in patrons and corporate clients.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, and willingness to follow bakery standards.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to juggle multiple requests.
• Ability to work on‑site, including weekends or peak hours, and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales, marketing or hospitality is a plus.
