Bilingual Host / Receptionist – Sandbox

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, bilingual Host/Receptionist to join our Sandbox team in Accra. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, enquiries and VIP arrivals in both English and French.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and confirm reservations.
• Manage guest lists, seating coordination and flow in collaboration with restaurant, bar and events teams.
• Respond to telephone, email, online and in‑person enquiries in English and French.
• Support VIP arrivals and special occasions with discretion and timely communication.
• Handle guest concerns, resolve routine issues and escalate complex matters.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, guest notes and handover information.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Security, Housekeeping and other teams to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold professional appearance and brand standards at the reception area.
• Gather guest feedback and report service improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Fluency in spoken and written English and French (mandatory).
• Previous experience in hospitality front‑desk, host, receptionist or guest‑relations roles is preferred.
• Diploma, HND or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Customer Service or related field is an advantage.
• Strong telephone etiquette, interpersonal communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Professional presentation, discretion and composure during busy periods.
