Blending Officer – Food Processing

About the role

The Blending Officer works under the direct supervision of the Blending Supervisor to plan and execute daily blending programmes, ensuring consistent product quality and availability. This position is based in Kumasi and plays a critical role in the beverage manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Receive the blending programme from the supervisor and create daily blending schedules.
• Enter production orders for all blended products into SAP.
• Supervise weighing, dissolving, and cross‑checking of ingredients before blending.
• Monitor scale calibration, batch dosing modules, and INDAG system volumes.
• Coordinate with engineers for CIP initiation and manage raw material requests from stores.
• Ensure safety, security, and proper documentation of returns and rework.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in food processing or bottling, including at least one year in syrup‑room operations.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP) for production order entry.
• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• General ERP software proficiency.
• Familiarity with INDAG systems for volume monitoring.
