Business and Disability Network Coordinator – Ghana

About the role

The Business and Disability Network (BDN) Coordinator will lead the Ghana Business and Disability Network (GBDN), bringing together employers, organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) and service providers to promote disability‑inclusive employment. Based in Accra, the role supports the development of inclusive workplace practices aligned with national and international frameworks such as the UNCRPD.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily network operations, member onboarding and communications.
• Support the Steering Committee in strategy development and membership growth.
• Plan and deliver an annual programme of events, workshops and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Manage implementation planning, budgets, logistics, accessibility and quality assurance for all activities.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities, including data capture, reporting and success‑story production.
• Support communications, advocacy and knowledge‑management initiatives on disability inclusion.
• Provide basic administrative and financial support, and contribute to fundraising and donor engagement.
• Promote safeguarding, data protection and risk management across network activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Significant experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development or membership networks.
• Proven stakeholder‑management experience with private sector, government, NGOs and OPDs.
• Strong understanding of disability inclusion and rights‑based frameworks.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, planning and coordination abilities.
