Business Development and Events Manager

About the role

VM Consult Limited is seeking a dynamic Business Development and Events Manager to drive new revenue streams, strengthen client relationships, and deliver high‑impact corporate events. This role blends strategic business development with creative event execution to enhance the company’s market presence across Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and client accounts.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that build VM Consult’s brand.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver corporate events, strategic convenings, and client‑facing engagements from concept to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and strategic partners.
• Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics for all programs.
• Track business‑development pipeline, marketing performance, and event outcomes, reporting regularly to leadership.
• Represent VM Consult at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
• Liaise with the wider GOLDCard Group on shared branding, resources, and cross‑company opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or event management.
• Proven track record of building client relationships and securing new business.
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing corporate events or strategic convenings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Creative, results‑driven mindset with strong attention to brand and detail.
• A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
