Business Development and Marketing Officer

About the role

The Business Development and Marketing Officer will work on‑site in Accra, driving new business opportunities and promoting Synergy Afriq’s technology solutions across Africa. You will combine sales prospecting with digital marketing to expand the company’s client base and support revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Coordinate sales meetings, product demonstrations, and maintain an active pipeline of prospects.
• Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across social media and other channels.
• Develop marketing content that showcases the company’s solutions.
• Collaborate with product, technology, and leadership teams to align business development and marketing activities with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Strong business development and sales abilities, including lead generation, relationship management, negotiation, and pipeline management.
• Marketing expertise such as campaign planning, content creation, social media management, and brand communication.
• Analytical skills for market analysis, competitor research, and data‑driven insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for creating clear proposals and delivering client pitches.
• Organizational and project‑management capabilities to prioritize tasks and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
