Business Development Executive – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Business Development Executive will support Cornerstone Energy Ghana Limited in expanding its market presence within the oil & gas sector in Ghana. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess new business and partnership opportunities in the oil & gas and related sectors.
• Conduct market and industry research to analyze trends, competition, and client needs.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Build, manage, and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Lead client negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and finance teams to develop proposals and client solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and management reports.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms.
• Monitor regulatory developments, market dynamics, and emerging industry trends.
• Track and report on sales pipeline, performance, and market insights.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer relationship roles (oil & gas preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Results‑driven attitude with a passion for exceeding targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
