Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment

About the role

Global University Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead international student recruitment across B2B channels. The role is home‑based in Ghana with regular travel to meet agents and partners. You will work closely with company directors to design and execute sales and marketing strategies that attract students to our network of universities and colleges worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all student recruitment, business development, account management and marketing events for B2B channels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with education agents and key stakeholders.
• Identify new revenue streams, support existing accounts and prospect new partners.
• Conduct client research, attend fairs, business trips and referrals to source agents.
• Deliver workshops, presentations and conferences, including on‑camera appearances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international student recruitment for higher education.
• Established network of education agents and strong relationships with key industry players.
• Demonstrated ability to generate revenue from existing and new accounts.
• Motivated, results‑driven and comfortable presenting publicly.

Required skills

• Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
• Database management skills.
