Business Head – rPET Division

About the role

Polytanks Ghana is seeking a Business Head for its rPET Division to lead the recycled PET manufacturing facility. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to drive productivity, quality, and commercial performance while supporting the group’s sustainability and circular‑economy objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor strategies that improve operational efficiency and align production with sustainability targets.
• Oversee the full production cycle from raw material intake to finished pellet output, adjusting workflows to maximise output and minimise waste.
• Ensure product quality, health‑safety‑environment (HSE) standards and regulatory compliance, championing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing plant management team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, government agencies and community leaders; develop and execute sales strategies for domestic and international markets.
• Prepare and manage the facility’s operating budget, capex and cost structure, monitoring financial performance and adjusting operations to meet targets.
• Drive sustainability projects that reinforce corporate social responsibility and circular‑economy goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing, operations or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale production facilities and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial negotiation experience.
