Business Manager – Farm Mechanisation & Equipment Financing

About the role

The Business Manager will lead farm mechanisation and equipment financing operations in Ghana’s Volta Region, working closely with internal teams, field service providers and technical partners. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency and building sustainable income opportunities across the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanisation services such as drying, threshing, cleaning, tractor operations and other mobile agricultural services.
• Drive annual revenue targets for mechanisation and equipment financing while maintaining competitive pricing models.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to engage farmer groups and commercial clients.
• Design and implement repayment and down‑payment structures for equipment financing, monitor repayments and maintain accurate records.
• Identify, train and monitor machine and tractor operators to ensure service quality.
• Support digital tools to improve operational monitoring, reporting and data accuracy.
• Establish standards for discipline, safety and operational reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with workshops, technicians and repair partners, tracking repair quality and equipment downtime.
• Support farmer mobilisation, service demand creation and fair engagement structures for field representatives.
• Contribute to operational dashboards covering revenue, utilisation, repairs and repayments.
