Chef – Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Chef to lead food preparation and cooking for both Ghanaian local and continental dishes at our facilities in Accra and Tema. The role involves delivering high‑quality meals, maintaining consistency, and supporting kitchen operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of Ghanaian and continental dishes to approved recipes, ensuring taste, presentation and portion control.
• Organise daily kitchen activities, manage mise en place, monitor stock levels and minimise food waste.
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, store ingredients properly and follow health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, support junior team members and assist during peak service periods.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness, conduct quality checks on finished meals and implement feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior High School education; a professional culinary certificate is highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel or commercial kitchen.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Food preparation and culinary techniques for Ghanaian and continental cuisines.
• Food safety and hygiene compliance.
• Mise en place management and stock control.
