Classroom Facilitator (Intern) – Climate Education

About the role

The Classroom Facilitator internship supports the ‘Butterfly Effect Project’, delivering climate‑focused, project‑based learning to young learners in Ghana. Over a three‑month intensive period, you will help translate complex environmental concepts into engaging, age‑appropriate activities.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive lessons from the curriculum, covering biodiversity, circular economy and green entrepreneurship.
• Guide students through experiments, games and outdoor learning activities.
• Connect climate topics to local community contexts and support student‑led environmental solutions.
• Create an inclusive, safe learning environment that encourages participation.
• Document activities, student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, programme staff and other facilitators.
• Participate in facilitator training, reflection sessions and programme evaluation.

What we offer

• Paid internship with a stipend of GHS 1,000 per month.
• Three‑month intensive experience from September to December 2026.
• Training in climate education, green skills and project‑based teaching methods.
