About the role
Smart4 Energy is expanding its energy solutions across Africa and seeks a Commercial Director to lead business development within the mining sector. The role will focus on identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships and driving revenue growth in Accra and the broader region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the mining industry across Africa.
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to enter new mining markets.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with key mining clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor energy solutions to client needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience developing business within the mining sector.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building opportunities from scratch.
- Highly proactive, energetic and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
