Compliance Manager & AML Reporting Officer – Fintech

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager who will also act as the Anti‑Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO) for a fast‑growing fintech company. The role involves leading the regulatory compliance and AML/CFT function, ensuring the business meets Bank of Ghana requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive regulatory compliance framework.
• Monitor and interpret Bank of Ghana regulations and other relevant laws.
• Conduct regular reviews of policies, controls and reports to identify compliance risks.
• Oversee AML/CFT policies, KYC, CDD and EDD procedures for customers and merchants.
• Prepare compliance reports and regulatory submissions, and liaise with the Bank of Ghana and other authorities.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory roles within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian banking regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and fintech operations.
• Proven ability to assess and mitigate compliance risks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
