Conference and Events Executive

About the role

The Conference and Events Executive will be based on‑site at Four Points® by Sheraton Accra Airport Hotel, coordinating conferences, meetings and social events from the first inquiry through post‑event follow‑up. This full‑time position ensures seamless execution and high‑quality guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client communications, prepare proposals and contracts, and arrange event logistics.
• Coordinate room setups, audiovisual requirements and liaise with catering, operations and front‑office teams.
• Monitor event timelines and budgets while upholding brand standards.
• Maintain accurate event records, support sales activities and contribute to continuous improvement of event processes.

Required profile

• Experience in conference and event planning within hospitality or a related industry.
• Strong client relationship and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Basic budgeting, forecasting and reporting competence.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional hotel teams.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, business administration or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office productivity software.
• Experience using event management tools.
• Familiarity with hotel booking or property management systems (advantageous).
