Conference And Events Executive

About the role

The Conference and Events Executive will be based on‑site at Four Points® by Sheraton Accra Airport Hotel, overseeing the full lifecycle of conferences, meetings and social events. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless execution from inquiry through post‑event follow‑up while upholding the hotel’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute conferences, meetings and social events, managing all phases from initial inquiry to post‑event evaluation.
• Handle client communications, prepare proposals, contracts and quotations.
• Arrange event logistics, including room set‑ups, audiovisual equipment and catering services.
• Liaise with sales, banquet, food & beverage, front office, housekeeping and operations teams to deliver flawless guest experiences.
• Monitor event timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and brand guidelines.
• Maintain accurate event records, support sales activities and contribute to continuous improvement of event processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in conference and event planning within the hospitality sector.
• Strong client relationship and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Basic budgeting, forecasting and reporting competence.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional hotel teams.
• Proficiency with office productivity software and familiarity with event management or property management systems.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, business administration or related field preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
