Consultant for Co-creation of AVID Project Proposals

About the role

The STAR-Ghana Foundation seeks qualified consultants to support shortlisted community‑based organisations in developing full project proposals for the Action for Voice, Influence and Inclusive Development (AVID) initiative. The consultancy will use a co‑creation approach to help organisations translate concept notes into high‑quality proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist community‑based organisations, citizen action groups, farmers’ and livelihood networks in drafting complete project proposals aligned with AVID objectives.
• Provide guidance on articulating aspirations, approaches, and expected outcomes to meet grant criteria.
• Submit a final end‑of‑assignment report summarising the co‑creation process and proposal outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in fundraising and proposal development.
• Deep understanding of gender equality and social inclusion in development programming.
• Proven ability to work with tight deadlines and support organisations to own the proposal development process.

Required skills

• Fundraising and grant proposal writing expertise.
• Knowledge of gender equality and social inclusion frameworks.
