Consultant - Vascural

About the role

The Consultant – Vascural will provide comprehensive clinical care within Fakeeh Care Group’s facilities in Accra and the Tema region. Reporting to the medical department head, the role involves direct patient management, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges and conduct thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional assessments.
• Develop and document evidence‑based care plans, ensuring timely implementation and daily progress notes using the SOAP format.
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician for inpatients, create discharge plans on admission, and coordinate with discharge‑planning services.
• Respond promptly to medical consultations, document interventions, and complete discharge summaries with appropriate patient education.
• Attend departmental meetings, contribute ideas for efficiency and patient satisfaction, and participate in teaching rounds and educational activities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree and valid licensure to practice in Ghana.
• Ability to assess patients holistically and develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Strong documentation skills, including proficiency with SOAP notes and medical record standards.
• Experience managing inpatient care and coordinating discharge planning.
• Commitment to patient education, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement.
