About the role
The Contracts Associate will support the drafting, review and administration of procurement contracts for goods and services. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Associate, the role ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate contract records.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing and preparing terms for senior review.
- Support negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks.
- Maintain organized records of executed agreements, amendments and related correspondence.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory and company policy requirements.
- Identify potential contractual risks and help implement mitigation measures.
- Liaise with procurement, finance, operations and legal teams to align contract terms with business objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law (mandatory); Master's in Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in contract management, preferably in the oil & gas procurement sector.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with supply chain management software such as Sage X3, SAP or Oracle.
