Country Talent Manager – Ghana

About the role

The Country Talent Manager will lead UpEnergy’s human‑resources strategy in Ghana, reporting to the Country Director and partnering with the Global Talent Team. This senior HR role is responsible for embedding the global HR strategy locally, fostering a high‑performance culture and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the BambooHR system, ensuring staff data is up‑to‑date and new hires are entered promptly.
• Prepare and manage offer letters, contracts, probation confirmations and renewals for the Data Team and Sales Agents.
• Produce hiring and turnover reports and recommend actions to reduce turnover.
• Coordinate medical health‑insurance enrolments, de‑registrations and refunds for new and departing employees.
• Ensure legal compliance with Ghanaian statutory HR requirements.
• Update monthly payroll information for finance, resolve payroll queries and manage salary, bonus and bank‑detail changes.
• Lead the recruitment platform and support the Job Grading Committee.
• Partner with management to design and deliver learning and development programmes.
• Localise and implement global Talent policies, advise managers and employees on grievances, disciplinary matters and other HR issues.
