Customer Care Executive Intern (Hybrid, Ghana)

About the role

The Customer Care Executive Intern will join M‑KOPA’s Customer Care department to help scale digital and financial inclusion across its markets. The primary aim is to manage and respond to all phone‑based customer inquiries, delivering first‑call resolution and ensuring overall positive satisfaction. The role also involves educating customers on M‑KOPA products and processes while supporting the team leader as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, manage, and promptly respond to all customer inquiries received via phone.
• Document every interaction accurately in the designated systems to maintain reliable records.
• Escalate complex issues to the next level of support when required.
• Educate customers on M‑KOPA products, services, and usage procedures.
• Provide additional support tasks as directed by the Customer Care Team Leader or Manager.

Required profile

• At least three months of experience in a similar customer‑care or call‑center role.
• Strong passion for resolving difficult customer issues and achieving first‑call resolution.
• Competency in using Microsoft Office applications.
