Dataset Curator

About the role

We are looking for a Dataset Curator to design, maintain and optimise high‑quality datasets that power AI, machine‑learning and large‑language‑model projects. The role works closely with data scientists, AI trainers and engineers to gather, clean, validate and annotate data across multiple domains, ensuring robust model training and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, curate and structure datasets for AI/ML training.
• Validate dataset accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Annotate and label data according to project guidelines.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates and anomalies.
• Maintain comprehensive metadata and documentation.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and data engineers to define dataset requirements.
• Ensure ethical sourcing and bias mitigation of datasets.
• Continuously monitor dataset quality and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in dataset curation, data analysis or data management.
• Experience handling large‑scale datasets for AI, ML or analytics projects.
• Familiarity with AI dataset ethics and bias mitigation.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics) are a plus.
