Director of Operations

About the role

The Director of Operations will act as the strategic business leader for the hotel, overseeing all core operational areas and ensuring the property delivers the Marriott brand promise. This senior position reports directly to senior hotel leadership and works closely with department heads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Recreation/Health Club, and Engineering/Maintenance functions.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with brand standards and financial targets.
• Monitor profitability, revenue performance, occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
• Analyze guest satisfaction data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Foster positive owner relations and ensure compliance with brand initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or management operations within a hotel environment.
