Economics Teacher – Cambridge Curriculum

About the role

Dayspring International Academy is looking for a dedicated Economics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge International curriculum to secondary students in Accra. The role involves designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student performance, and contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans that align with Cambridge International standards.
• Deliver clear and interactive economics lessons.
• Mark scripts and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Support extracurricular and enrichment programs related to economics.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the Cambridge International curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of economic concepts and ability to explain them clearly in English.
• Commitment to fostering student growth and academic excellence.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Economics syllabus.
