Education Counsellor (UK & Ireland)

About the role

The Education Counsellor will guide international students in selecting the right UK or Ireland institution that aligns with their academic and career goals. Based in Osu, Ghana, you will provide comprehensive advice on study options, application procedures, visas and pre‑departure support while promoting IDID’s services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone and face‑to‑face consultations to identify suitable courses and institutions for prospective students.
• Assist students in preparing application documents, managing admissions, visa processes and pre‑departure requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with students, families and partner institutions to ensure trust and high service standards.
• Use the CRM system to capture leads, track counselling progress and convert prospects into applications.
• Identify and develop new lead sources such as schools, universities, scholarship bodies and corporate partners.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in higher‑education admission counselling for the UK and Ireland.
• Knowledge of immigration procedures for UK & Ireland student visas.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on integrity and ethical conduct.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students, families and educational partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for lead management and counselling workflow.
