Electrical & Automation Technician – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Automation Technician to ensure reliable operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all electrical, instrumentation and automation systems at our facility in Accra and Tema. Reporting to the Electrical & Automation Manager, you will play a key role in supporting production lines for our dairy and beverage products.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot LV/MV distribution networks and interpret electrical schematics.
• Program, commission and support PLCs using ladder logic and structured text.
• Operate and maintain SCADA systems for real‑time monitoring.
• Calibrate, install and service sensors, actuators and other instrumentation devices.
• Participate in start‑up activities for new equipment or product lines.
• Document maintenance activities and suggest improvements for system reliability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and automation engineering.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven experience in start‑up of technical equipment or production lines.

Required skills

• PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text).
• SCADA system operation.
• LV/MV distribution system maintenance.
• Electrical fault diagnosis.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Sensor and actuator calibration and maintenance.
