Electrical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our technical project team, focusing on the assembly, installation and maintenance of port‑related equipment and metal structures. The role involves hands‑on mechanical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering high‑quality installation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble busbar support structures and related metal frameworks.
• Perform mechanical installation of conductor rails, accessories and other equipment.
• Carry out alignment, fastening and quality checks during installation.
• Assist with mechanical testing, commissioning and site reporting.
• Support preparation of intervention and project documentation.
• Adhere to all site safety procedures and technical instructions.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining and assembling port equipment such as RTG or STS cranes.
• Experience assembling metal structures and performing mechanical site work.
• Ability and willingness to work safely at height.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, tools and installation procedures.
• Strict compliance with QSHE/HSE procedures.
• Effective teamwork within a technical project environment.
