Engine Workshop/Field Service Technician – Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Engine Workshop/Field Service Technician – Apprentice to join our Ghana team. You will support workshop and field operations by performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer equipment and vehicles while receiving structured on‑the‑job training.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with general workshop activities, including cleaning, inspecting, and disassembling equipment.
• Support timely completion of service and maintenance tasks following Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and established procedures.
• Document work accurately, complete timesheets, and update system records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, caring for tools and equipment.
• Promote safety by adhering to HSE policies and reporting incidents or risks.
• Identify and report continuous‑improvement opportunities to supervisors.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification such as Motor Vehicle Mechanics Work (MVM), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), Motor Vehicle Technician Part 1‑3, or a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is a plus.
