Entrepreneurship Officer

About the role

The Entrepreneurship Officer will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of entrepreneurship training programmes for FAWE Ghana’s participants and alumni. This role bridges education, business incubation and stakeholder engagement to foster sustainable enterprises across Accra and the Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate entrepreneurship curricula, workshops, bootcamps and business clinics.
• Identify, screen and onboard participants with viable business ideas into incubation or mentorship pipelines.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with incubators, accelerators, financial institutions and grant‑making bodies.
• Organise pitch competitions, demo days, networking events and alumni showcases.
• Recruit, coordinate and manage a network of mentors, coaches and industry volunteers.
• Track programme outcomes (businesses launched, jobs created, revenue generated) and prepare regular monitoring and evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to document success stories and impact data for donors and stakeholders.
• Conduct needs assessments, field visits and maintain accurate participant records.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months (3 years) of experience in entrepreneurship programme management or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to design training modules and facilitate capacity‑building workshops.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with incubators, financial institutions and community leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
