Event Photographer / Videographer Consultant

About the role

AGRA is seeking a freelance event photographer and videographer to capture its key activities across Ghana and the wider African region. The consultant will work on a long‑term basis, providing high‑quality visual content for the Communications Unit to showcase success stories and promote innovative agricultural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Attend AGRA‑organized events, workshops, and field visits to photograph and record video footage.
• Produce edited photo sets and short video clips that meet AGRA’s branding and storytelling standards.
• Deliver final media assets promptly, often on short notice, to support press releases, social media, and donor communications.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to identify visual angles that highlight impact on small‑scale farmers.

Required profile

• Professional photographer/videographer operating as an independent consultant or firm.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to respond to urgent assignment requests.
• Experience covering events, preferably in development or non‑profit contexts.

Required skills

• Photography (event, portrait, and documentary).
• Videography and video editing (including post‑production).
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software.
