Expert Detailing Representative (Pharma Sales) – Ghana

About the role

We are looking for an Expert Detailing Representative to promote consumer healthcare brands to healthcare providers across Ghana. The role combines scientific knowledge with sales expertise to drive awareness, advocacy and product uptake.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
• Recruit and engage HCPs on digital platforms, supporting webinars, emails and remote interactions.
• Guide HCPs in using patient communication tools and digital resources, and encourage participation in CME modules.
• Maintain high in‑call quality, monitor performance metrics and achieve KPIs such as AWR, BRMO and SoR.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs, distribute medical samples and support patient trials.
• Track territory sales targets, provide market insights and competitor intelligence.
• Organise and support educational events while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare role.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Required skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems, specifically Veeva.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and KPIs.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
