About the role

SafiYarn Limited is seeking a creative Fashion Designer to join its team in Accra. You will play a key role in developing sustainable apparel collections that reflect current trends while adhering to ethical production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch original garment designs aligned with sustainable fashion principles.
• Develop detailed design specifications, including fabric selection, pattern creation, and construction methods.
• Collaborate with the product development and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, fabric innovations, and market demands to keep collections competitive.

Required profile

• Strong sense of style and creativity with an eye for detail.
• Entry‑level experience (minimum 1 month) in fashion design or related field.
• Passion for sustainable fashion and ethical garment construction.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Experience in sustainable fashion design.
• Knowledge of garment construction techniques.
• Ability to sketch and develop original designs.
• Familiarity with fabrics, patterns, and current fashion trends.
