Finance Decision Support Specialist - Technology

About the role

Telecel Ghana is looking for a Finance Decision Support Specialist to partner with the Technology division. The role provides financial insight, modelling and analysis to support strategic decisions and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology leadership to develop annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
• Advise technology executives on business cases, cost‑reduction opportunities and ROI assessments for new projects.
• Work with IT, Network Operations, Capital Projects and Supply Chain teams to identify process improvements and cost‑saving measures.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports highlighting performance, risks and opportunities to senior management.
• Ensure financial accountability and compliance with budgetary controls across the Technology function.

Required profile

• Entry‑level graduate with strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate findings clearly.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and proactive in addressing tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• PowerPoint for creating presentations.
