Full Stack Engineer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer specialized in React Native to join our team on a contract basis in Accra, Ghana. The role involves building and maintaining high‑performance mobile and web applications while working closely with product, design and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Build responsive web interfaces with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Develop and integrate backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Create and manage scalable databases in MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization and data‑protection mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices and optimise performance, scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across the full stack and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Document technical specifications and stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing React Native applications for mobile platforms.
• Strong background in modern front‑end development and back‑end API design.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native architecture and containerised deployments.
• Experience in FinTech, digital payments or telecommunications is a plus.
