Full-Stack Mobile Developer Intern (Remote, 1 month)

About the role

Voima is seeking a Full-Stack Mobile Developer Intern to help finalize its AI‑powered preventive care companion for sickle cell disease. This remote, one‑month internship offers hands‑on experience taking a React Native/Expo app through testing, production builds, and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine features in the existing React Native + Expo mobile application.
• Support backend services, APIs, databases, and authentication integrations.
• Debug, test, and improve application performance and stability.
• Prepare production builds using Expo/EAS and assist with deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and deployment phases.
• Help ready the app for beta users and real‑world usage.

Required profile

• Experience with React Native and Expo.
• Full‑stack development experience covering both frontend and backend.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, authentication, and integrations.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within an existing codebase.
