Full-time Gynecologist – Accra, Ghana

About the role

Famano Health is seeking a qualified Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join its women’s health practice in Accra. The role offers clinical autonomy within a modern, patient‑centered environment, focusing on comprehensive women’s care from adolescence through menopause.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialist gynecological consultations, including cervical screening, pelvic exams, and ultrasounds.
• Provide antenatal care throughout all trimesters and manage post‑natal follow‑up.
• Perform minor procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, contraceptive implant placement, cervical biopsies, LEEP, and cryotherapy.
• Prescribe and interpret laboratory tests (STI screening, hormonal panels, CBC, TSH, AMH, etc.) and communicate results sensitively.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, manage appointments, billing, and liaise with insurance providers.

Required profile

• Medical degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology with a valid Ghanaian medical license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in gynecology/obstetrics.
• Fluent English communication skills.
