Head of B2C – Ghana

About the role

The Head of B2C in Ghana will lead the national consumer sales organisation for CANAL+ Telecom, driving subscriber acquisition, revenue growth and fibre‑broadband market penetration across Accra and Tema. Reporting to senior executive management, you will shape strategy, build high‑performing teams and align sales activities with network rollout plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the B2C sales strategy, setting aggressive subscriber and revenue targets.
• Design and launch go‑to‑market campaigns for new products, bundles and promotions.
• Set up and manage the sales organisation (door‑to‑door, retail shops), define KPIs and monitor performance.
• Oversee field sales teams, direct agents, channel partners and retail outlets, ensuring territory coverage aligned with fibre deployment.
• Implement forecasting, pipeline management and digital field‑management tools to optimise conversion rates and acquisition cost.
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate sales managers and field staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with Network Operations, Marketing and Executive Management to synchronise sales with network rollout and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8–12 years of sales experience, at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in telecom, ISP, fibre broadband or high‑volume FMCG distribution.
• Proven track record managing large field sales teams across multiple regions.
• Analytical and financial acumen with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Driving licence holder and deep understanding of the Ghana telecom market.
