Home Support Carer / Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Home Support Carers to provide high‑quality, in‑home care for clients in Accra. The role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Manage medication administration, ensuring correct dosage and timing.
• Support mobility by helping with transfers, walking and prescribed exercises.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and mental stimulation.
• Perform light housekeeping, prepare nutritious meals and run errands.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping or social outings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a caregiver, home health aide or similar role.
• Warm, patient and empathetic personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication, reliability and punctuality.
• First Aid/CPR certification is highly preferred.
