HR Manager (Part‑time, Remote – Ghana)

About the role

Surf Ghana Collective is seeking a proactive HR Manager to support its growing team. This part‑time, remote position will handle daily HR operations while shaping the organisation’s long‑term people strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall HR strategy, reviewing team structure and identifying staffing needs.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and off‑boarding processes, including job description creation, interview coordination, and contract preparation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, manage attendance, leave, and probation periods, and ensure compliance with Ghanaian labour regulations.
• Support performance management through probation reviews, evaluations, improvement plans, and professional development initiatives.
• Produce regular HR reports covering actions taken, pending matters, risks, and recommendations.

Required profile

• Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant HR experience with a solid understanding of Ghanaian labour law.
• Strong organisational, communication and follow‑up skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience preparing contracts, consultancy agreements and other HR documentation.
• Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and other digital collaboration tools.
