HR & Operations Officer

About the role

The HR & Operations Officer will manage the full spectrum of human‑resource activities while overseeing the effective utilisation, tracking and reporting of company assets in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment for technical and non‑technical positions, including job posting, CV screening, interview coordination and documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, induction, orientation and exit processes, ensuring all paperwork is completed.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave and performance data, and prepare regular HR reports.
• Assist with performance appraisal administration, training coordination and employee engagement initiatives.
• Track and document company assets, maintain asset registers and produce periodic utilisation reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR administration or operations experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated manufacturing.
• Good working knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and HR policies.
• Basic understanding of WHO/GMP requirements and related documentation.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with digital HR databases and spreadsheets.
